Who We Are

The Peninsula Bruce Trail Club acknowledges and honours the Traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. And further give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this land.

We are the northernmost club of the nine that make up the entire Bruce Trail which has its southern start in Niagara.  Utilizing only volunteers we maintain, conserve and promote the stunningly beautiful section of the Bruce Trail between Wiarton and Tobermory.

Reaching The Cairn at the tip of the peninsula in Tobermory is the crowning achievement for hikers completing the entire Bruce Trail.

The Peninsula Bruce Trail Club and the Bruce Trail Conservancy is committed to preserving a ribbon of wilderness, for everyone, forever. To make that a reality, we must do all that we can to help make the Bruce Trail and our organization a welcoming and inclusive space. We value and welcome diversity, and aim to be an accessible and inclusive community that honours, respects, and reflects the various ways people connect with the Bruce Trail and the Bruce Trail Conservancy

Enjoy the Peninsula Bruce Trail and become a member, donate and volunteer.
